CLASSES
Our classes run every week and are fun and varied! Our Musical Theatre classes are a combination of acting, singing, and dance taught in a relaxed and fun environment for students of all abilities!
We work on a mixture of theatre from classic musicals, plays, and modern musicals and songs.
singing
Students will learn singing techniques and gain confidence to sing in a group and on their own (only if they want to) in a supportive way. We offer various opportunities in class to sing a wide range of songs from different musicals. There will be opportunities within our classes and our showcases to belt out solo songs.
If singing on their own isn't for them. that's okay too! Most of our singing is done in groups.
Dancing
Musical Theatre dance is amazing because it's so varied and offers so many different styles. If you've never danced before don't worry! We offer training for all abilities. All dances are choreographed and taught by our principles at a pace that is relaxed and fun.
drama
Storytelling in Musical Theatre is so important and is at the core of everything we teach. We encourage our students to develop their acting skills by carrying out improvisation exercises, reading scripts, and enjoying fun games and activities all based around acting. We develop an understanding of characters, facial expressions, and emotions.
PERFORMANCE
The thrill of performing on stage is like no other. We give our students the amazing opportunity to do just that by performing in an annual showcase made up of a variety of musical theatre songs.
Our shows include a theatre, professional lighting, sound, and costumes.
For parents, the experience of seeing their children performing on the same stage is an unforgettable experience.
As well as our showcases we also hold an annual awards night which we use to award our students for their work in the show with some extra special awards up for grabs for those who really shone.
